Rockfish and Lingcod

Fishing for rockfish and lingcod off the Central Oregon coast in Newport offers an exciting and rewarding experience for anglers of all skill levels. Newport provides access to abundant near shore reef systems ideal for catching Rockfish and Lingcod. Known for their firm, flavorful meat, these species provide excellent sport fishing on light tackle. We target these bottom-dwelling fish using a variety of terchniques including artificial lures and traditional bait fishing. Our primary catch include black, blue, canary, deacon, and china rockfish. Keep an eye out for the occasional prized blue lingcod and cabezon – they can make for an unforgettable fishing experience! Crabing included !!!!
