Experience the thrill of deep-water Halibut Fishing in Newport Oregon! We'll venture into the depths (often over 500 feet) targeting these prized flatfish. Along the way, we frequently encounter impressive rockfish, lingcod, delicate petrale sole, and rich blackcod. After reaching our halibut bag limits, we'll dedicate the remaining time of our 12-hour trip to targeting rockfish and lingcod. We provide all the necessary tackle, bait, and ice, and electric reels are available. These exciting trips typically begin in May, weather permitting. In 2024, the daily limits were 2 halibut, 5 rockfish, and 2 lingcod per angler. We take pride in ensuring the highest quality catch by bleeding and icing your fish immediately.
